New Starters - First Lesson is Free
For New Starters the first lesson is free, then the next few weekly sessions are pay-as-you throw , If you decide to continue with judo after the trial period you can move over to one of the club's monthly membership payment options, take a British Judo membership and purchase a judo uniform.
BRITISH JUDO ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP
As a new starter the club’s insurance will cover you for four trial sessions. After your trail period you are required to join the British Judo Association, your BJA membership provides you with personal insurance, access to competitions and gradings, newsletters and access to the online membership portal, The Dojo.
No Licence, No Judo
Anyone continuing to attend a BJA club after the 4 lesson "trial period", who does not hold a valid BJA licence will not be insured, and will be refused access to the mat.

- Taster sessions for new starters aged 5 to 10 yrs are held on a Monday Or Thursday , 6:00 to 6:45pm.
- Taster sessions for new starters aged 10 to 15yrs are held on a Monday Or Thursday, 7:00 to 8:00pm.
- Senior Beginners are held on a Monday Or Thursday 8:00 to 9:15

What should i do if i want to start training Judo
- Complete the Ford Judo Membership sign up form - see button below
- We loan junior beginners a judo jacket and belt for each session of the first four weeks trial period, all you need is a t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms (no zips or poppers) or leggings (no shorts) - you should also bring some clean flip-flops and a full water bottle
