Ford Judo Club Child Protection

Picture
Ford Judo Club complies with the British Judo Associations Child Protection policies and procedures. All of our club Coaches and  the Club Welfare Officer have completed DBS background checks and regularly attend the scUK Safeguarding and Protecting Children course and the NSPCC Time To Listen course.

The BJA upholds the principle that all children whatever their age, culture, disability, gender, language, racial origin, religious belief and/ or sexual identity have the right to protection from abuse. The members, staff and volunteers of the Association are committed to the welfare and protection of children and young people so that they can enjoy sporting activities in safety without fear, threat or abuse.

British Judo Association Child Protection Policy

Safe Landings document  is the official child protection policies and procedures for the BJA. Please use this document as an initial point of reference. If you have any questions surrounding the document or child protection in general, please contact the club's CWO, Steve Kennedy.
